Some evenings call for a big bowl of something warm. I made this speckled white bowl with exactly that in mind, a deep, generous shape that holds soup, ramen, or a bowl of porridge in the morning.
I shaped it on the wheel from stoneware, then dipped it in a white glaze with scattered dark speckles, so the surface has a soft, organic texture.
Dimensions and care:
- Dimensions: approximately 15-16 cm diameter, 7-8 cm tall
- Material: stoneware
- Finish: white glaze with dark speckled pattern, glossy, food safe and non-toxic
- Care: dishwasher and microwave safe
Suitable for:
- Soup and ramen: deep enough for a full, warming bowlful.
