My white speckled yarn bowl is probably the most versatile one I make. The glaze is neutral enough to sit quietly on any shelf, next to any yarn colour.
I threw it from stoneware and carved the spiral guide by hand — the same as all my yarn bowls. It's the one I'd choose as a first yarn bowl, or as a gift for someone just starting out.
Dimensions and care:
- Dimensions: approximately 14–15 cm diameter, 8–9 cm tall
- Material: stoneware
- Finish: white speckled glaze, glossy, food safe
- Care: hand wash recommended to protect the carved spiral
Each bowl is hand-thrown and carved in my studio. The speckle pattern on yours will be unique.
