Collection: Ceramic Yarn Bowls
I'm a knitter as well as a potter, so yarn bowls have a special place in my studio. I made my first one for myself — I needed something that would hold the ball in place while I worked, without the yarn snagging on the edge. The spiral slot came from testing. The weight came from knowing how heavy stoneware needs to be to stay put.
These bowls are wheel-thrown from stoneware, one at a time. Some are speckled white, some anthracite, some glazed in teal or blue. Each has a hand-carved spiral guide — smoothed until the yarn runs through without catching.
If you knit or crochet, you'll understand why this matters.
