Collection: Bowls

A bowl is one of those shapes I keep coming back to. Wide, open, made for holding — soup on a cold evening, salad at lunch, a bowl of matcha to ease into the morning.

Wheel-thrown, one at a time

All of these handmade ceramic bowls are wheel-thrown from stoneware in my studio in Latvia, one at a time. The speckled white stoneware soup bowl and salad bowl are quiet and neutral, with a scandinavian-minimalist feel that goes with almost anything already on your table. The blue ombré matcha bowl is something a bit more particular — wide and shallow, shaped for a slower ritual of whisking and drinking.

What's in this collection

A handmade stoneware soup bowl for the evenings you want something warm, a salad bowl built to be the most-used piece in your kitchen, and a matcha bowl for anyone easing into a quieter morning routine. Each ceramic bowl is glazed by hand, so the finish shifts slightly from piece to piece.

Any of these also make a thoughtful housewarming gift or a gift for a tea lover who appreciates handmade pottery over mass-produced dinnerware.
