Blue Ombre Stoneware Matcha Bowl, Handmade Ceramic Chawan (14cm)

I made this bowl with slow mornings in mind, the kind where you sit for a moment before the day takes over. Its wide, shallow shape is made for whisking matcha, but it works just as well for a small portion of rice, soup, or whatever your morning ritual calls for.

I shaped it on the wheel from stoneware, then dipped it in a blue glaze that shifts from deep indigo at the rim to a soft, pale blue inside, so each bowl has its own gradient.

Dimensions and care:

• Dimensions: approximately 14 cm diameter, 7.5 cm tall
• Material: stoneware
• Finish: blue ombre glaze, deep blue at the rim fading to pale blue inside, glossy, food safe and non-toxic
• Care: dishwasher and microwave safe, hand wash recommended to keep the glaze looking its best
