Why I Fell in Love with the French Butter Crock
For years, I’ve dreamed of traveling to Provence — there is just something wonderful about France and their appreciation for slow living and culinary enjoyment. I have always been fascinated by global kitchen traditions, and let's be honest: if the word French is in the name, it automatically sounds delicious!
When I discovered this traditional French butter crock with its clever water-seal design for my own kitchen, I was completely enchanted. It allows me to keep butter out on the counter at room temperature — always perfectly soft, fresh, and ready to spread on warm bread without ever needing refrigeration. When throwing these vessels on the wheel, my goal is to bring that timeless piece of French culinary heritage into our everyday morning rituals.

Crafted for Creators: My Ceramic Yarn Bowls
My love for knitting started as a child, watching my grandmother and aunt create the most beautiful, intricate patterned mittens I had ever seen. While my grandmother is no longer with us, I still treasure those mittens in my wardrobe; holding them today brings back such a warm, comforting sense of home.
That specific feeling of comfort and belonging is what I pour into my yarn bowls. I throw them with a heavy, grounded base so they stay perfectly stable while you work, and I hand-finish the yarn swirl until it’s silky-smooth — ensuring your flow is never interrupted, allowing you to just sit, create, and get lost in the meditative rhythm of your craft.

The Art of Slow Creation
My process is unhurried and personal. From the moment I wedge the clay to the final firing in the kiln, each step is taken with care and intention. I don't just make ceramics; I craft everyday companions, shaped by hand to bring a sense of grounded calm to your home.

The Beauty of Slow Living
My days here in rural Latvia begin with a rhythm I truly cherish — quiet mornings, the smell of fresh coffee, and the feel of clay beneath my hands. There is no mass production in my studio, only vessels shaped on the wheel and fired with patience. Every piece I create carries the warmth of the human touch, designed for those who, like me, find joy in a life lived a little slower.

Safe Journey to Your Doorstep
I’ll be honest — my journey with packaging began with a lesson. I once shipped my first large order of ceramics, and they arrived broken. It was a painful but vital lesson. Instead of taking the easy way out with piles of plastic, I committed myself to doing better. Over the years, I’ve mastered the art of safe worldwide shipping, treating every package as an extension of my craft. I wrap and secure every piece with the exact same care I poured into making it on the wheel. My goal is simple: for you to open the box and find your new ceramics in the exact same condition they were when I pulled them from the kiln.

Earth-Friendly & Honest Materials
My work with clay is deeply connected to nature, so I couldn't imagine sending it out in packaging that harms the Earth. My approach to packaging isn't a coincidence — it's a lifestyle I practice everywhere. In my garden, I use permaculture principles, and at home, I always choose nature-friendly products. It was only natural to bring this same philosophy into my studio. I only use materials I feel good about using — 100% plastic-free, recyclable, and biodegradable.

Crafted with Care
I don't view packaging as just logistics — it is my final, loving touch to every piece. Every string is tied with intention, ensuring that opening your box is a pleasant and aesthetic experience. Sometimes, if the mood in the studio is right, I’ll tuck in a handwritten note or a small ceramic charm — my personal way of saying thank you. It isn't a guarantee for every order, but rather my heartfelt way of trying to brighten your day.
